Born and raised in New England, Stephen “Steve” Ellis frequently visited Savannah, Georgia before ultimately making it home more than a decade ago. Drawn to the area’s growth, charm, and strong sense of community, Steve built both his career and his family life in the region he now proudly serves.
While earning his finance degree from Georgia Southern University, Steve obtained his real estate license — a decision that set the course for his future. Immersed in real estate since the age of 17, he brings decades of hands-on experience across residential sales, property management, and investment real estate. With hundreds of successful transactions closed, Steve is a consistent member of the Distinguished Sales Society and is known for his market expertise, strong negotiation skills, and results-driven leadership.
After serving as Managing Broker for Coldwell Banker Intercoastal Realty, Steve partnered with Sue Anderson to launch Intercoastal Realty and the rental management company Southern Coastal Management. What began as a focused property management firm steadily expanded in both services and relationships, built on a simple mission: maintain properties to the highest standards, maximize client returns, and remove the day-to-day burdens of ownership — all while building long-term partnerships grounded in trust and integrity.
As the company evolved, so did its vision. In 2025, Southern Coastal Management was relaunched as Legacy Realty & Investment Management — a full-service brokerage designed to serve clients at every stage of their real estate journey. The rebrand reflects Steve’s belief that real estate is more than a transaction — it is a long-term investment, a wealth-building tool, and ultimately, a legacy. Today, Legacy stands beside clients not only to manage properties, but to help grow portfolios, advise on future investments, and protect long-term value for generations to come.
Steve approaches every property under management as if it were his own, prioritizing asset protection, operational excellence, and transparent communication. Under his leadership, Legacy continues to expand services — including the launch of an in-house maintenance division — allowing the company to deliver faster service, higher quality standards, and greater cost efficiency for owners. His leadership philosophy extends beyond business performance; he believes strong companies should also contribute positively to the communities they operate in.
In addition to his real estate ventures, Steve is an active entrepreneur. He is the owner of Your CBD Store in Rincon and co-owner of Bubbly’s Laundromats with his partner, Kayla. Through both business and personal involvement, he supports local initiatives, youth programs, and community efforts that strengthen the neighborhoods his companies serve.
Outside of business, Steve enjoys traveling with Kayla and raising their growing family — two sports-driven boys and their infant daughter. Friday nights are reserved for high school football, and many weekends are spent in wrestling gymnasiums. Though deeply committed to his work, Steve believes that true success is measured not only in business growth, but in serving others, strengthening community, and putting family first.
